When regular eyeglasses, contact lenses, or implants are no longer enough to see clearly, you may be dealing with low vision (reduced visual acuity) or a visual impairment. In English, this condition is known as “low vision.” We speak of low vision when the corrected visual acuity is less than 0.3 (30%). People with a visual acuity between 3/10 and 6/10 are also welcome for support.

Once a month, I CARE organizes a consultation with a low vision specialist.

All tests are carried out at I CARE, and you can immediately try out a variety of electronic aids on site  such as screen magnifiers, reading devices, and specialized lighting to help improve your vision.
